Leon Bloom's love of cannabis dates back a long way.
At the time, Super Skunk, Santa Maria, and Northern Lights were the stars of coffee shops. There were no restrictions yet in the border towns, which welcomed thousands of Belgians. On weekends, endless lines formed in the streets of Maastricht.
This was also the heyday of "adresses." A sort of wholesale store, but with a relatively low minimum quantity. Operating completely illegally, they were surprisingly not very discreet. It was in this atmosphere that Leon Bloom became interested in different genetics and learned to appreciate them.
This was long before the pillaged worm, generic amnesia, synthetic cannabinoids, fake cali, etc.
Leon Bloom began growing cannabis in the mid-2000s. From the start, he tried to create his own cultivar, but it wasn't until 2020 that he came up with the idea for Leon Bloom Seeds.
Back in Belgium after spending time abroad, his small urban garden wasn't conducive to growing cannabis. A path runs alongside it, giving walkers a panoramic view of the plantations. Not far from a drug dealing spot, the path is frequented by local drug addicts. It's hard to do worse.
But for Leon Bloom, it's impossible to bring himself not to grow the sacred plant. Searching for solutions online, he first discovered Duckfoot.
Later, a friend showed him Australian Bastard Cannabis. It was love at first sight. The idea came to him as soon as he saw these small leaves that looked like succulents: "What if it were possible to create a discreet version of all the best strains?"
