NL Bastard

NL Bastard

NL Bastard was born from the cross between Northern Lights and Northern Bastard.

A classic among classics, Northern Lights is believed to have originated in the Seattle area of Washington State. It was reportedly bred outdoors from Afghan landraces during the 1970s. But it was in Holland that it became famous. Available as seeds since 1985, it quickly became a staple on the menus of the best coffee shops during the 1990s. Northern Lights was used to create other timeless classics such as Super Silver Haze and Jack Herrer, among others.

Northern Bastard was bred to withstand the harsh conditions of Northern Europe. It is a cross between German Power Subterfuge and ABC Special. Developed by Hyb and Kalyseeds respectively, they are two pure lines of Australian Bastard Cannabis.

NL Bastard combines the captivating aroma and effect of Northern Lights with the rock-solid resilience of Northern Bastard. Not forgetting, of course, its incredible discretion in the garden. NL Bastard is stable, and you can expect to harvest an abundance of medium-sized, compact, and crystallized flowers.

Although unrecognizable for most of its life cycle, its typical old-fashioned coffee shop smell at the end of flowering could arouse suspicion.

Tip: Like their common parent, most ABC hybrids require a longer growth phase than your usual plants. To optimize outdoor cultivation, plant them indoors in late winter and transplant in mid-spring.
