ABC Auto

ABC Auto

The result of a cross between Quick One and ABC, ABC Auto is the first automatic ABC cultivar on the continent.

A bestseller from the queen of seed banks, Quick One is one of the most efficient automatic strains on the market. Its life cycle is very short, sometimes only nine weeks from seed to harvest. Its automatic genes come from the pioneering autoflowering cannabis strain LOWRYDER 1.

Also known as Bindi Bud or Cannabis Australis, ABC (Australian Bastard Cannabis) is an Australian landrace strain known to the community since the 1970s.

Of unknown origin, ABC grows wild in the Hunter Valley, near Sydney, the capital of illegal cannabis cultivation in Australia. Several theories exist regarding its origin. The public's favorite is that the fight against illegal plantations, involving heavy use of chemicals in the Hunter Valley, may have caused this mutation. Two other hypotheses, more serious in my opinion, suggest that ABC is descended from cannabis imported by Europeans in the 19th century, or that the Aborigines brought it with them when they settled the southern continent.

Finally, Leon Bloom Seeds' preferred hypothesis is that it is an ancient form of cannabis that spread to Oceania during the last ice age, when sea levels were at their lowest. A recent genetic study indicates that ABC is the most distant relative of all cannabis strains, perhaps confirming this last theory.

It should be remembered that ABC remains by far the least studied cannabis species by scientists. Currently, all these hypotheses are pure speculation.

ABC Auto was developed for outdoor cultivation and difficult conditions.

With a relatively long life cycle of up to 16 weeks, ABC Auto is capable of reaching a size and production similar to a non-mutant autoflower. ABC Auto isn't completely stabilized, but all phenotypes already exhibit the same sweet indica aroma inherited from Quick One. Leaf shape and flower structure vary greatly. Once dried, the flowers reappear with the hazy tropical sativa aroma inherited from ABC. With a THC level of around 12%, ABC Auto is ideal for casual users. At the end of flowering, ABC Auto is covered in trichomes. With these flowers, you'll produce a yellow hash that looks like it came from the Moroccan mountains.

Tip: With a relatively long life cycle, ABC Auto needs a fairly large pot to grow well. Plant it directly in it, avoid repotting. If you live above the 45th parallel north, plant between April 15th and May 15th for optimal results.
